Vision Vlottenburg celebrates Easter in style
Vision Vlottenburg ended the school term in style by holding an Easter Hunt for its aftercare learners in a bid to teach them the true meaning of the Christian festival.
The fun-packed event, which took place at the end of March, started when the students were divided into several groups. Here they were told the story of Easter, why it is significant and what it means.
Next each learner was given colour pencils and scissors and shown how to make Easter Bunny ears out of paper plates.
A hunt followed, with each group trying to find marshmallows that had been carefully hidden around the primary school’s premises. The final activity of the day consisted of face painting, which was undertaken by the group facilitators before everyone went off for the autumn holidays.
